JERUSALEM, July 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists vandalized and attacked an agricultural facility in the town of al-Sawahra, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to the Jerusalem Governorate.
It said that a group of colonists stormed the facility, scattered livestock, smashed a tractor, shattered window glass, destroyed solar panels, surveillance cameras, and a protective fence, and damaged animal feed supplies.
The governorate stated that this attack is part of an escalating pattern of colonist violence targeting Palestinian residents in the area. A few days ago, colonists physically assaulted a local farmer, while Israeli forces continue to impose restrictions, issue fines, and detain residents while they were attending their own-land.
It further held the Israeli occupation fully responsible, accusing them of supporting colonists and covering up their crimes. It further noted that the Jerusalem desert region is being targeted by systematic colonial plans aimed at displacing its residents.
