Newspaper Review: Knesset’s ‘Jewish State’, Israeli Settlers and Forces’ Attacks on Palestinians Focus of Dailies

RAMALLAH, November 24, 2014 – (WAFA) – The bill proposed by the Israeli cabinet to enshrine Israel’s definition as the ‘nation-state’ of ‘the Jewish people’ and the Israeli settlers’ and forces attacks against the Palestinians featured the front page headlines of Palestinian dailies.

Here are the front page headlines of the dailies.

Al-Quds

-          Two Palestinians are killed by Israeli army; [one was shot dead] in Gaza Strip, while the other one succumbed to critical wounds he sustained by the explosion of a bomb left behind by Israeli army’s military training] in Northern Jordan Valley.

-          The Arab League slated to hold an emergency meeting on Saturday to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian issue.

-          Fatah Advisory Council: bringing about peace, security and stability starts in Jerusalem.

-          A fine is imposed on a Jerusalemite Palestinian for ‘unlicensed building’.
