ABU DHABI, November 7, 2014 (WAFA)
- Speaker of the Arab Parliament Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, in a press
release Thursday, strongly denounced the Israeli escalating measures
against al-Aqsa mosque, holding the Israeli government fully responsible for
any harm inflicted upon the mosque.
He stressed that the Israeli
provocations against Arabs and Muslims aim at undermining the calm, attempting
to create confusion in light of the surrounding circumstances.
He described the international
silence to the Israeli crimes against the mosque as, 'shameful', calling on the
United Nation Security council to intervene to immediately end these Israeli
flagrant violations against the holy sites in Jerusalem, particularly al-Aqsa
mosque, by using all means possible.
He held the international
community fully responsible for Israel's breaching of international law and its
Abstention from Subjecting Israel to Accountability.
