RAMALLAH, June 9, 2026 (WAFA) – The Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned on Tuesday the Israeli Knesset’s approval, in its second and third readings, of a bill expanding deductions clearance tax revenues as a colonial measure that falls within a systematic policy of organized piracy.

The Ministry expressed its categorical rejection of the law, describing it as a colonial measure that falls within a systematic policy of organized piracy and the continued plundering of Palestinian funds. It said the legislation constitutes not only a flagrant violation of signed agreements and international law, but also a dangerous escalation in Israel's all-out war against the Palestinian people, their national rights, and their legitimate institutions.

It stressed that the continued withholding of Palestinian clearance revenues and the unlawful deductions from them undermine prospects for stability and threaten the economic, financial, and humanitarian situation in the occupied Territory.
