RAMALLAH, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli occupation's measures against Dutch diplomats accredited to the State of Palestine, including Jerusalem, and the resulting obstacles to their carrying out their diplomatic duties.

In a statement, the Ministry affirmed that Dutch diplomats are welcome in the occupied Palestinian territory and that Israel has no sovereignty over any part of the State of Palestine.

It expressed its rejection of the blackmail and threats employed by the occupation authorities to pressure countries and influence their positions, and to limit the international and diplomatic presence in Palestine, thus enabling Israel to continue its violations away from oversight and witnesses.

The Ministry commended the bilateral relations between the State of Palestine and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, affirming its support for the positions of the Netherlands and other countries that have begun taking practical steps to protect the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, safeguard their land and people, defend the two-state solution against colonial settlement activity, and take the necessary measures based on international law and Security Council resolutions, including Resolution 2334, and relevant advisory opinions issued by the International Court of Justice.

The Ministry called upon the international community and its institutions to adopt a unified stance and not leave states and international organizations alone in confronting the actions of the Israeli occupation authorities against them and their diplomats and staff in the occupied State of Palestine.
