BETHLEHEM, September 15, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian journalist this evening at a military checkpoint in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.
Palestinian security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces detained journalist Naqaa Hamed while she was passing through a military checkpoint in Tuqu'.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint in the al-Jurn area of Battir village, west of Bethlehem, where they searched Palestinians' vehicles and checked their identities.
