JENIN, November 7, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager was injured by Israeli gunfire tonight in the city of Jenin, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
PRCS reported that its teams treated a 14-year-old boy who was shot with live ammunition near the Grand Mosque in Jenin and transferred him to the hospital.
Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital in Jenin stated that the child was shot in the left knee with no exit wound, and his condition is described as moderate.
Earlier this evening, Israeli forces stormed the center of Jenin, deploying infantry units near the main roundabout, the Sibbat neighborhood, and Abu Bakr Street, and opened fire on civilians.
Local sources said Israeli soldiers forced shop owners near the main roundabout to close their stores, obstructed vehicle movement on Abu Bakr Street, stopped several vehicles, and checked passengers’ identity cards.
Since January 21, Israeli forces have continued their relentless aggression against Jenin city, its refugee camp, and surrounding towns and villages, leaving 56 Palestinians killed and over 200 others wounded.
The occupation has also completely demolished over 600 homes in the camp, displacing 22,000 residents to nearby towns, villages, and city neighborhoods.
