NABLUS, November 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today issued notices to confiscate more than six dunums of land in the towns of Sebastia, Naqoura, and Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Mohammad Azem, head of the Council of Services for the villages of northwest Nablus, said the confiscated lands are located in Sebastia, Naqoura, and Deir Sharaf. The occupation intends to use the land for the construction of a new colonial road in the area.
The road will link the illegal settlement of Shavei Shomron with a newly planned colonial outpost and is expected to extend about 1,500 meters.
Azem emphasized that all settler activities in the area reflect a deliberate intention to seize fertile plains and farmland from the three villages, prevent Palestinian access, and expand settlement infrastructure.
