HEBRON, November 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists damaged more than 15 ancient olive trees today in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, as well as damaged fodder in a separate incident in the Nablus province, according to local sources.
Osama Makhamra, an anti-settlement activist, said that colonists from the settlement of Susiya, built illegally on Palestinian land, broke and destroyed over 15 olive trees owned by members of the Nawajaa family. The trees, which are centuries old, are located in the village of Susiya, where Palestinian families depend heavily on olive cultivation as a primary source of livelihood.
Following the attack, Israeli forces raided the village, stormed several homes, tampered with their contents, and seized recordings from surveillance cameras.
Meanwhile, in the northern West Bank, colonists destroyed livestock feed in the village of Khirbet al-Tawil, located near the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus.
Local sources said that a group of colonists attacked the area and damaged fodder belonging to farmer Awad Nasser. Khirbet al-Tawil, situated east of Aqraba, has been repeatedly targeted by colonists.
