RAMALLAH, October 27, 2025 (WAFA) - Vice President of the State of Palestine, Hussein Al Sheikh, condemned on Monday Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich’s “rude” comments about Saudi Arabia.

Vice President Al Sheikh said in a press statement that he strongly condemned Somtrich’s rude comments about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia along with its people and civilization that have brought the world out of darkness into light.

He added that Smotrich’s remarks that only reveal his racism and outdated mindset that has no longer a place in civilized, humanitarian, moral, or political discourse, as Smotrich reproaches the Kingdom and its leadership for standing with the Palestinian people amid a genocidal war and for supporting their legitimate right to freedom, independence, and statehood.
