HEBRON, September 22, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a resident from the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, on Tuesday following an attack by colonists on residents' homes in the area.

Activist Osama Makhamreh stated that colonists raided the home of the Masa'af family in the Hawara area of ​​Yatta, assaulting women and children.

They attempted to drive their sheep into the courtyard of the home—a structure made of brick and tin sheets that houses the family—in an effort to seize the property and force the family to leave, while local residents confronted them.

He added that occupation forces stormed the area following the colonists' attack and detained a young man, Rami Issa Masa'af.
