JENIN, July 25, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued two new military orders today mandating the removal of vegetation and trees from lands in the Jenin Governorate.

Security sources told WAFA that the first military order mandates the removal of vegetation and olive trees from lands belonging to the Jenin Municipality and the town of Qabatiya—covering an area of ​​178.71 dunams—near the "Kadim" settlement on the bypass road east of the city.

The sources added that the second military order mandates the removal of vegetation and olive trees from lands belonging to the Jenin Municipality and the town of Qabatiya—covering an area of ​​128.77 dunams—located opposite the "Ganim" military camp, near the Haddad Tourist Village east of Jenin.

These military orders come within the context of ongoing occupation measures targeting Palestinian-owned lands in the Jenin Governorate.
