Palestinian sustain injury from Israeli army fire near Nablus

NABLUS, October 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian on Wednesday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army fire in Huwara town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to medical sources.

They said that a Palestinian was injured by a live round in the foot shot by the occupying forces in the town.

Local sources added that the occupation forces stormed the town and fired a barrage of live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs at the inhabitants, triggering confrontations and resulting in one casualty.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in line with its broad and arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
