NEW YORK, October 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday in front of the New York Public Library at Bryant Park, calling for an immediate halt to arms supplies, the imposition of sanctions on Israel, and an end to the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people.
Protesters held signs and banners condemning the continued violence against Palestinians and urging the international community to take urgent action. Chants echoed through the streets, declaring that the time has come to take a decisive stand for Gaza.
Organizers of the rally stressed that the demonstration aimed to express the growing public demand for accountability and justice, particularly in light of ongoing atrocities and human rights violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The event comes two years after the outbreak of the brutal Israeli war that left more than 67,000 Palestinians killed and hundreds of thousands injured and displaced, drawing widespread condemnation and calls for international intervention.
