LONDON, August 29, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Kingdom has decided to bar Israeli officials from participating in its largest defense trade exhibition due to Israel’s ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government announced in July that it would recognize a Palestinian state unless Israel takes substantive steps to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
At the time, Starmer emphasized the importance of a comprehensive plan to end the tragedy in Gaza, achieve a long-term settlement, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
