GENEVA, August 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Thousands of people demonstrated in the Swiss city of Geneva to protest Israel's starvation policy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The protesters gathered in the English Garden on Saturday evening and organized a sit-in on the main street opposite the garden to express their rejection of starvation and the Israeli war of extermination in Gaza.
The demonstration turned into a march that toured Geneva's neighborhoods for hours, with people waving the Palestinian flag and chanting anti-Israel and pro-Palestine slogans in English, French, and Arabic.
The participants also banged on empty pots, a reference to starvation and deaths due to hunger in Gaza.
During the demonstration, the protesters called for a boycott of Tel Aviv and criticized the governments cooperating with it.
