10 Palestinians killed, over 60 injured as Israeli forces open fire on aid seekers in Gaza

GAZA, July 11, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 10 Palestinians were killed and more than 60 others injured on Friday when Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a crowd waiting for humanitarian aid in the Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

According to WAFA correspondents, the victims had gathered to receive much-needed assistance when Israeli troops opened fire, leading to widespread casualties. Local health centers have issued urgent appeals for blood donations due to the high number of injured individuals arriving for emergency treatment.

Separately, five more Palestinians were injured in the northern part of the Gaza Strip when an Israeli drone dropped bombs near Al-Nazla roundabout.

Medical sources confirmed that a total of 15 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip since the early hours of Friday.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,680 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 137,409 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
