GAZA, July 6, 2025 (WAFA) — Seven Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday afternoon as Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple areas in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex, five civilians, including three children, were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a tent sheltering displaced families west of Khan Younis.
In a separate incident, one person was killed by Israeli drone fire in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, another civilian was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in western Gaza City, medical staff at Al-Shifa Hospital reported.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,418 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 136,261 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
