Israeli forces issue demolition and stop-work orders in Idhna, west of Hebron

HEBRON, July 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces issued demolition and stop-work orders for several homes and structures in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, on Sunday, according to local officials.

Abdel Rahman Tmeizi, head of public relations and media at the Idhna Municipality, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided multiple areas in the western part of the town and delivered demolition and stop-work notices for a number of residential and non-residential structures.

Tmeizi noted that the municipality has not yet been able to determine the total number of affected properties, as many of the orders were posted on uninhabited or vacant buildings, which will require additional time to survey and document.

This move is part of ongoing Israeli measures restricting Palestinian construction in Area C of the occupied West Bank, where permits are seldom granted and demolition orders are widely used to control land and displace residents.
