Five killed, including four siblings, in Israeli drone strike on displacement tent in Gaza

GAZA, July 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian civilians, including four children from the same family, were killed and several others wounded last night in an Israeli drone strike targeting a displacement tent in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA correspondent, the strike hit a tent sheltering internally displaced persons near the Al-Shafa’i camp area, east of Khan Younis. Victims were rushed to Nasser Medical Complex in the city.

Among those killed were four siblings: Yazan (12), Amjad, 10, Muhannad, 7, and Mohammad Fahd Abu Al-Khair, 6.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,338 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 135,957 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
