BEIRUT, July 5, 2025 (WAFA) – One person was killed and six others were injured on Saturday following a series of Israeli drone strikes targeting vehicles and a residential home in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese official sources.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle at the Martyr Salah Ghandour roundabout in the city of Bint Jbeil.
Lebanon's Ministry of Health confirmed that the strike in Bint Jbeil resulted in the killing of one individual and injuries to two others, according to an initial casualty report.
In a separate attack within the same district, two more people sustained serious injuries when another drone struck a vehicle in the town of Shaqra, the ministry said in a second statement.
A third drone strike targeted a vehicle near the vocational institute in Bint Jbeil, injuring one person, while a fourth strike hit a house in the village of Shebaa in the Hasbaya district, injuring another individual, according to additional statements from the ministry.
