Israeli strikes kill three civilians, injure others west of Gaza city

GAZA, July 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli strikes on Wednesday killed three civilians and injured several others in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that an Israeli airstrike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people close to Ad-Dahyan School in the neighborhood, claiming the lives of three and injuring others.

He added that Israeli bombing also targeted a displacement center, west of the city, resulting in dozens of casualties, who were rushed to the Arab Ahli Hospital.

Meanwhile, Israeli bombing targeted the Al-Majayda street in Khan Younes in the southern war-battered Strip, claiming the life of a civilian.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing hundreds of Palestinians.

The death toll reached at least 6,454 with 22,551 others wounded, according to medical sources. In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 142 slain Palestinians, including three retrieved from the rubble, and 487 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 57,012 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 134,592 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
