Four civilians killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City

GAZA, 30 June 2025 (Wafa) – Four civilians were killed on Monday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians near the Shawa and Hosari towers on Al-Wehda Street in Gaza City.

Earlier today, medical sources reported that at least 33 people, including a journalist, were killed and around 50 others injured, some critically, after Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Baqa beachfront rest area in Gaza.

With Abu Hatab’s killing, the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, now in its 21st month, has risen to 227.

According to health sources in Gaza, the death toll since the early hours of today has surpassed 80, including 57 in Gaza City and the northern areas of the Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have carried out a devastating assault on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 56,531 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children. At least 133,642 others have also been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
