JENIN, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening assaulted and briefly detained two Palestinian children while they were playing in the street in the town of Yabad, south of Jenin.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the town, deployed military vehicles throughout its streets, and severely beat two children who were playing outdoors.

The children were detained inside a military vehicle for some time before being released.

Israeli forces also detained two other minors, both aged 15, while they were standing in front of a shop in the town.

Israeli forces also raided the nearby town of Jaba', where they patrolled the streets and vandalized a memorial dedicated to a slain Palestinian who was killed by Israeli forces.
