Israeli airstrikes kill 13, including children, injure others in Gaza

GAZA, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Thirteen civilians, including two children, were killed and dozens were injured after Israeli occupation aircraft struck schools and tents sheltering displaced persons in the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians near the Shuhada Roundabout in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing six and injuring dozens.

Airstrikes also hit the area surrounding a school sheltering displaced families in Jabalia Al-Nazla in northern Gaza, resulting in the killing of three people and the wounding of several others. including children.

Additionally, three people, including two children, were killed after an Israeli drone struck a tent housing displaced persons in Khan Yunis refugee camp in southern Gaza.

WAFA correspondent confirmed the killing of a woman and the wounding of others in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential apartment near the Palmyra junction in Gaza City.

Meanwhile, a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the death of a three-month-old infant in Deir al-Balah due to starvation and lack of infant formula, caused by the ongoing Israeli siege and continued closure of border crossings.

Medical sources confirmed that the total number of fatalities from the continuous Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since dawn has risen to 74, including 13 aid seekers.
