GAZA, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Ten Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Friday as Israeli occupation forces carried out fresh attacks on civilian gatherings in Gaza City and Khan Younis.
According to WAFA correspondent, eight civilians were killed and several others injured when Israeli warplanes struck a group of people near Shaaban Al-Rayyes School in the Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The casualties were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.
In a separate incident, medical sources confirmed that two more Palestinians were killed and several wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on a crowd of civilians gathered near an aid distribution point south of Al-Tina Street in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The victims were taken to the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 54,249 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 123,492 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
