GENEVA, June 25, 2025 (WAFA) – The World Food Program (WFP) has recently said that the food aid dispatched to the war-battered Gaza Strip since May 19 was ‘less than one day’s worth of food’.
“WFP has been able to dispatch just 9,000 metric tons of food aid inside Gaza since 19 May - less than one day’s worth of food for everyone for over four weeks,” the WFP posted on X.
WFP affirmed that it was ready to “scale up,” while noting that “we need more access and better conditions to safely do our jobs.”
“The time to act is NOW,” it concluded.
