RAMALLAH, June 24, 2025 (WAFA) – At least four Israelis were killed and others were injured, some seriously, when an Iranian missile directly struck a residential building in Beersheba on Tuesday.
A ceasefire went into effect, according to US President Donald Trump, who declared that "the ceasefire is now in effect, please do not violate it." Israel hasn't commented on Trump's statement.
The US president announced a comprehensive ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Tehran on Monday night, which went into effect at 7:00 a.m.
He indicated that the ceasefire would initially last for 12 hours, after which the war would be officially over.
Before the ceasefire took effect, Israel was subjected to intense Iranian attacks, including dozens of ballistic missiles.
Some of these missiles directly hit buildings, particularly in Beersheba, resulting in deaths and injuries.
