NEW YORK, June 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Students and faculty members at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center have entered the fourth consecutive day of a hunger strike, demanding an end to the genocidal crimes being committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The strike is taking place in the courtyard of the Graduate Center, where participants have displayed banners and images from Gaza, calling on the university administration to divest from companies and institutions complicit in supporting the Israeli occupation and settler-colonial regime.

Organizers accuse CUNY of complicity in the ongoing atrocities through its financial ties to entities involved in the occupation, emphasizing that the university must take immediate and ethical action.

Protesters have vowed to continue the hunger strike until the administration meets their demands, declaring that solidarity with Palestine is "not a choice, but a moral obligation."
