BARCELONA, May 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The Government of Catalonia announced on Thursday the closure of its trade office in Tel Aviv, in a move reflecting growing world discontent over Israel’s ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The decision comes amid mounting international criticism of the genocidal war carried out by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. This has prompted widespread calls across Europe for increased pressure on Israel to halt its offensive and allow the entry of humanitarian aid to the besieged population.
