BERLIN, May 11, 2025 (WAFA) — Germany’s new Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul, has described the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as “unbearable” in light of the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation.

In a press statement issued on Saturday, Wadephul emphasized the urgent need to launch negotiations for a ceasefire aimed at securing the release of all detainees and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.

He also reaffirmed his belief that a two-state solution remains the best path to achieving lasting peace and security, stressing that this course should not be obstructed.
