Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Executive Committee, praised statements made by US President Donald Trump on how people in Gaza will be asked to leave the Strip.
"We appreciate [US President Donald] Trump's statements in which he emphasized that the residents of the Gaza Strip will not be asked to leave their homeland," al-Sheikh.
Trump had assured reporters during his meeting with the Irish Prime Minister in the Oval Office, "No one is expelling anyone from Gaza."
