RIYADH, February 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Hussein al-Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), met today with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan to discuss the latest developments and preparations for the upcoming emergency Arab Summit, set to take place in Cairo on March 4, 2025.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Palestinian President's Diplomatic Adviser, Majdi Khalidi, al-Sheikh expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia's steadfast support of the Palestinian cause. 

He particularly praised the efforts of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in advocating for Palestinian rights, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Al-Sheikh also commended Saudi Arabia's contributions to efforts aimed at reinforcing the ceasefire, providing humanitarian aid, and supporting the State of Palestine in fulfilling its responsibilities across all Palestinian territories.
