RAMALLAH, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Under the chairmanship of President Mahmoud Abbas, the Fatah Revolutionary Council will hold its 12th session in Ramallah on February 20. The two-day meeting will focus on the latest developments in Palestine, the resilience of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and efforts for reconstruction.

Younis Amr, a member of the Revolutionary Council, told the Voice of Palestine radio that the session will address Israel’s ongoing aggression in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip. 

He emphasized that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) remains the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, despite external pressures and regional agendas.

Amr reaffirmed that defending Palestinian rights and national unity remains a priority, stressing that no external conferences or initiatives outside national consensus will undermine the legitimacy of the PLO.
