RAMALLAH, February 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Hussein Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), has slammed statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to an American media channel, calling them 'misleading.'

In a post on X, Sheikh said that Netanyahu's statements against Egypt are misleading.

"Netanyahu's allegations against the Arab Republic of Egypt are misleading and distort the truth that the problem lies in the Israeli occupation and its siege of the Palestinian people, not in Egypt, which has worked for many years to help and support the Palestinian people politically, materially and morally, and has taken an honorable stance in preventing the displacement of the Palestinian people from their homeland and has supported their steadfastness and perseverance on their land," he said.

"Greetings to Egypt, its leadership and people," he concluded.
