Two civilians injured from Israeli gunfire in Gaza despite ceasefire agreement

GAZA, January, 21, 2024 (WAFA) – Two citizens were injured by the occupation forces' fire in two separate operations, today in the sea of ​​Gaza City and in the Sabra neighborhood, southwest of the city.

Medical sources said  that a fisherman was seriously injured by the fire of Israeli gunboats in the sea of ​​Gaza City, while another was injured by the fire of an Israeli drone in the vicinity of the Abu Sharia office in the Sabra neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

In the same context, medical sources reported that rescue teams and citizens were able to retrieve the bodies of 66 slain Palestinians  from under the rubble of destroyed homes in the south and north of the Gaza Strip yesterday.

Health data indicates that more than 137  slain Palestinians have been retrieved from the city of Rafah, since the ceasefire agreement came into effect the day before yesterday, Sunday.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have launched an aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing  of 47,035 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 111,091 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.
