GAZA, December 17, 2024 (WAFA) - Seven civilians were killed and several others injured on Tuesday evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple locations across the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes shelled a group of civilians near Al-Tabaeen school in eastern Gaza City, killing three people and injuring several others.
Israeli fighter aircraft also targeted a house belonging to the Abu al-Jbn family near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, resulting in the killing of two civilians.
In another Israeli strike on Khalifa Bin Zayed School in northern Gaza, one civilian was killed and three others, including two children, were injured.
A medical source at Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that one civilian was killed and 33 others, including several in critical condition, were injured in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle west of the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of the town of Khuza’a southeast of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
The ongoing Israeli military offensive on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of at least 45,059 civilians and the injury of 107,041 others.
This toll remains incomplete, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or scattered along the roads, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews due to the relentless Israeli shelling and massive amount of debris.
