QALQILYA, October 22, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists set fire to olive trees east of Qalqilya on Thursday, while Israeli occupation forces forced farmers to leave their lands and prevented them from continuing the olive harvest.
Local sources reported that colonists raided an area on the outskirts of the village of Imatin, east of Qalqilya, and set olive trees on fire.
Meanwhile, occupation forces forced farmers harvesting olives in the al-Jabal area, near the site of the arson, to leave their lands. The forces also detained Palestinian farmer Yousef Juma and several of his workers.
