GAZA, November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Five Palestinians were killed and several others injured this evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced families in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, located east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that the victims, who included men, women, and children, were rushed to the European Gaza Hospital, where they were declared dead.
In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in the Wadi Sabir area, east of Khan Younis, leading to more casualties. At least several more individuals were injured in that attack, according to local medical sources.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,552 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,765 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
