Israeli colonists damage crops and irrigation network near Tubas

TUBAS, September 10, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Thursday damaged agricultural crops, removed and stole a fence, and destroyed an irrigation network in Khirbet Yerza hamlet, in the northern West Bank province of Tubas, according to local sources.

Mukhles Masaeed, head of the Yerza village council, said colonists damaged a thyme crop belonging to a local Palestinian farmer resident, removed and stole a fence surrounding the agricultural land, and destroyed irrigation networks supplying water to the crop.

The incident took place in the northern area of the community, where Palestinian citizens have faced repeated Israeli attacks and restrictions affecting their agricultural lands and livelihoods.
