RIYADH, Friday, July 19, 2024 (WAFA) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs today welcomed the International Court of Justice’s (ICJ) advisory opinion on the ‘unlawful’ Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.

It stressed in a press release the need for taking practical and credible steps to achieve a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian question in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and UN resolutions, so that it guarantees the Palestinian people their right to exercise self-determination and sovereignty in their independent State, based on the 4 June 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
