AMMAN, Monday, July 15, 2024 (WAFA) – Jordan’s King Abdullah II reiterated the need to mobilize international support to reach an immediate and lasting ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The king also underscored the need to protect civilians and increase the flow of aid to the Strip.
During a telephone call with UK Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, the king warned against the danger of a regional expansion of the conflict, reaffirming that the two-state solution is the only way to achieve just and comprehensive peace, according to Jordan’s Petra news agency.
