GAZA, Monday, July 8, 2024 (WAFA) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said its staff in Khan Yunis managed to reopen a UNRWA health center after it was severely damaged in January by Israeli shelling.
“As there are no other health facilities in this part of Khan Yunis, the clinic is crucial to support the displaced families that moved back into the area looking for shelter,” said UNRWA in a post on X.
The Israeli occupation forces continued today their aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of more than 38,193 civilians, mostly women and children, and the injury of more than 87,903 others.
Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or scattered on the streets.
