RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 18, 2024 (WAFA) – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk today warned that the situation in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is deteriorating significantly.
Türk added, according to Reuters, that there is “death and suffering that cannot be accepted by conscience” in the Gaza Strip.
He noted that about 528 Palestinians, including 133 children, had been killed by Israeli army or colonists since October 7, 2023, stressing that some cases raise “serious concerns about unlawful killings.”
