GAZA, Sunday, June 2, 2024 (WAFA) - Two civilians were killed this evening in an Israeli shelling of the eastern part of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation warplanes targeted the Abu Halawa area east of Rafah, resulting in the killing of two citizens and the injury of others.
The number of people killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of Israel’s aerial, ground, and sea bombardment on October 7, 2023, has risen to more than 36,439, mostly children and women. The number of wounded has exceeded 82,627 people.
Thousands remain missing under the rubble and on the roads.
