RAMALLAH, October 20, 2026 (WAFA) – The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) documented on Tuesday 13 Israeli attacks against Palestinian farmers and property across the occupied West Bank.
The CWRC said that the Israeli occupation forces and colonists committed 13 assaults and violations on Tuesday against Palestinian civilians, their lands, and property in the West Bank governorates of Ramallah and al-Bireh, Nablus, Salfit, Jenin, and Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley.
As part of the assaults, the occupying forces and colonists physically attacked farmers, prevented them from harvesting olives, stole crops equipment, and sheep, cut down trees, broke into homes, closing roads and entrances, and expanded a colonial outpost.
In the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, colonists attacked a family in the al-Batin area of Sinjil, stealing the olive harvest and agricultural equipment and chasing its members. They closed the road leading to the Gharaba area, northwest of the town. This came as they set up mobile homes at the Batn al-Halawa area, north of Sinjil, to expand an existing colonial outpost.
In the Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, colonists, protected by occupation troops, broke into Palestinians’ homes, ransacked some of them, and stole sheep from one home. The soldiers detained two young men in the course of the raid. In Burqa, east of Ramallah, colonists grazed their sheep onto the villagers’ lands.
In the Nablus governorate, colonists assaulted a farmer and attempted to steal his harvest in Madama town, while others attacked Palestinians’ homes in the eastern part of Asira al-Shamaliya. In the al-Masoudiya plain, northwest of Nablus, colonists plowed Palestinian-owned agricultural land.
In the Salfit governorate, colonists cut down olive trees and stole equipment in the Wadi al-Ahmar area, east of Marda village. They also mounted an attack against olive harvesters from Yasuf in the Wadi area.
In the Jenin governorate, gun-toting soldiers denied most farmers access to their olive groves around the Dotan colony near Ya'bad town. They held dozens of vehicles used by farmers, as well as a number of young men, some of whom were handcuffed and blindfolded before being forced to leave. Only around four families managed to enter the area, while a limited number of farmers over the age of 45 were allowed to reach their groves.
In the Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley governorate, colonists chopped down around 250 olive trees in the Umm al-Kubaysh area, east of Tammun.
The CWRC noted that the attacks were accompanied by the closure of the entrances to the towns of Sinjil, Turmus Ayya, al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, Yatma, and al-Sawiya, as well as the closure of the road connecting Ramallah and Nablus, disrupting movement between towns and villages.
