RAMALLAH, October 21, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces have issued a demolition order for a home in the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

Marwan Sabah, head of the Umm Safa village council, told WAFA that Israeli forces notified resident Mohammad al-Obaiyat of the planned demolition of his home in the eastern part of the village. He noted that Israeli forces and colonists have been besieging the house for some time and have blocked the road leading to it with an iron gate.

Sabah added that the Israeli authorities gave al-Obaiyat until November 11 to carry out the demolition order. The house was built in 1954.

Umm Safa has been subjected to ongoing attacks by Israeli forces and colonists as part of efforts to tighten restrictions on residents and threaten their ability to remain in their homes and on their land.
