BETHLEHEM, October 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished an inhabited home on Tuesday in the village of al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem, according to a local activist.
Youth activist Ibrahim Awadallah told WAFA that Israeli forces demolished a two-story house in the Ein Al-Juwaiza neighborhood, northwest of the village. Each floor measured 120 square meters. The house belongs to Arafat Salim Abu Rizq and was demolished under the pretext of lacking an Israeli-issued building permit.
He added that the occupation forces prevented the family from removing their belongings from the house.
Israeli occupation forces have intensified home demolitions in al-Walaja, particularly in the Ein Al-Juwaiza area, where they have issued demolition notices for several houses.
