TULKARM, October 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained several young Palestinian men during a raid on the southern neighborhood of Tulkarm city on Tuesday evening, blindfolding and tying their hands before subjecting them to abuse, local sources told WAFA,

Sources said that Israeli forces deployed around the al-Balawi intersection in the neighborhood, chased and detained several young men, and abused them amid heavy gunfire and the firing of stun grenades. The forces also obstructed vehicular traffic in the area.

The sources added that the forces raided a residential building in the same neighborhood and damaged vehicles parked at its entrance.

Israeli forces also raided the Irtah suburb south of the city and searched several homes after using a Palestinian resident as a human shield to enter and search the houses. No detentions were reported during the raid.

Tulkarm city and its surroundings continue to face repeated Israeli military raids involving searches of homes and facilities and assaults on residents and their property, amid the ongoing Israeli military aggression against the city and its two refugee camps for the 632nd consecutive day.
