GAZA, Monday, May 13, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of Palestinians were Monday killed, and others were injured, in ongoing artillery and airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces on Jabalia and Jabalia al-Balad camps in the northern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia said that two people were killed and others were wounded as a result of the occupation bombing of citizens’ homes in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
The sources added that a number of people were killed and others were injured as a result of a raid in front of Beit Al-Khair Association on Al-Nuzha Street in Jabalia Al-Balad.
Civil Defense and Ambulance crews said that the bodies of 20 slain civilians were recovered in Jabalia, adding that they were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Local sources said that the occupation forces surrounded and stormed shelter centers, forcing hundreds of displaced people to head west of Gaza City.
The sources added that occupation aircraft and artillery targeted citizens' homes in Jabalia Camp and Jabalia al-Balad in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the destruction of a large number of them.
The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, continues since October 7, 2023, which has so far resulted in the killing of 35,034 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, and injuring 78,755 others, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble, in an infinite toll.
